Harry Louis Gabiel
It is with sadness that we report the passing of Harry Gabriel. He was born and lived his whole live in Chicago. He was a veteran of World War II. After he came back from the army he married Betty Brosman, a member of Bethany who introduced him to the church and he became a dedicated and faithful Christian. Betty passed away in 1991.
In addition to regular church attendance Harry was a participant in the Tuesday afternoon Bible class and was head usher. He was also a faithful member of the Board of Stewards and helped every Sunday with the tabulating and recording of the gifts and offerings.
Despite health problems this past year he was eager to come back to church and Bible class. His smile and cheerful attitude were an example of confidence and trust in Our Lord. He will be missed.
